What are Cub Scouts?
Cub Scouts are young people aged between 8 and 10 years old. They belong to the second youngest Section in the Scouting family.  They can move to the next Section, Scouts, between nine years and six months and 10 years six months.

Cubs can be recognised by their dark green sweatshirts, Cub Scouts enjoy making friends, playing games, going on visits and helping others.
They usually meet together once a week in a Cub Scout Pack.

Cub Scout Packs follow a balanced programme of Belifs and Attitudes, Creative, Outdoor and Adventure, Cultural, Community and much more. Activities might include anything from art to going on a Sleepover.
